Ntshoko left South Africa in 1962, moving to Switzerland and playing with Johnny Gertze and Dollar Brand at the Club Africana in Zurich from 1963 to 1965.  
He ultimately settled in Basel, Switzerland and went on to release music as a leader, side man and collaborated with Johnny Dyani, Mal Waldron, Ben Webster and many other jazz greats.

The collective the repertoire of the Mande peoples of Senegal and Mali as the bridge to bring West African music, together with Jazz and the sounds of Black London, creating something different.

In 2001 he enrolled in University of Kwa-Zulu Natal School of Music and studied Jazz and Popular Music under the supervision of Phiwe Solomon as his personal bass teacher. He graduated in 2006 with a National Diploma in Music.

He has worked with a lot of accomplished musicians in South Africa including Feya Faku, Andile Yenana, Afrika Mkhize, Steve Dyer, Bheki Khoza, Nduduzo Makhathini, Ayanda Sikade, Gloria Bosman, and Melanie Scholtz in addition he was the member of both the SAPS Brass band and Entertainment band and he is currently a member of the Young Lions Jazz Ensemble which comprises of young jazz musicians in the country.

For all these years of working with different musicians he has developed his own unique and distinctive sound which draws its influence from all sorts of variety of music including church hymn, African folk music, avant-garde, and hip-hop, jazz. His compositions are fresh, bubbly and full of energy; anyone who encountered with his music gets transformed because of intensity and his commitment to this art form called music.

His project " My Dream" released in 2016 re-emerges 7 years later and has been nominated for best jazz bass player.

It is Mogorosi’s first project as leader since 2014, Group Theory: Black Music marks a return to the drummer’s musical roots.

Following her successful debut release “The Offering” (2014), is the release of her highly anticipated project "Exiled", which includes aspects of different genres including Spoken Word, Electronic and World Music.

She returns in 2022 with her third offering " Blk Elijah & The Children of Meroë" a story about the mystery of awakening, re-birth or re-MEMBERING.

Two of her albums, ‘Quiet Now’ and ‘Mama Africa’ (a collaboration with the Brussels Jazz Orchestra) were awarded a South African Music Award (SAMA) for Best Jazz Album (in 2010 and 2011).
Besides music, Tutu has also been more and more involved with theatre, playing a part in the dance theatre production “Speak Low If You Speak Love” including being one of the actresses in an all-star cast of the very successful and award-winning “Dear Winnie”production.

Top musician Sipho 'Hotstix' Mabuse describes Manana as "one of the most underrated and unheralded" trumpeters in the country.

From 1956 Manana played and toured with bands like Savoy
Havanas, African Swingsters and a whole generation of
talented jazzmen including Gideon Nxumalo, Mackay
Davashe, Peter Rezant, Kippie Moeketsi, Zakes Nkosi
and Gwigwi Mrwebi. He also mhad many recordings with
the Chris McGregor Big Band.
He also recorded extensively with the African Jazz Pioneers
which he is the founding member of, who performed and
had a live recording in Switzerland.
In 2022, he is working on a tell all book, a documentary of his life in his music and for the first time, his debut album.
