The event was organise by Platform to Protect Whistleblowers in Africa together with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation at the Gordon Institute of Business Science. The event brought together different stakeholders from government, civil society and the media. One of the highlights of the event was the creation of a mural honouring whistle-blowers.
