Dr. Ikalafeng champions the 'Made in Africa' initiative, advocating it as essential for Africa's self-sufficiency, unity, and prosperity. He believes that only by embracing this can Africa truly be self-reliant.

Over his 30-year career, Dr. Ikalafeng has earned significant recognition in brand and marketing, including being named one of New African Magazine's '100 Most Influential Africans' and receiving the Financial Mail AdFocus Lifetime Achievement Award.

A thought leader known for his advocacy of sustainable African brands, he holds degrees from Marquette University and an LLM from the University of Turin in collaboration with WIPO.
